Consumer Publications Uganda Limited has officially launched the 2026 Business Excellence Awards (BEAwards 2026) at the Sheraton Kampala Hotel, signalling the start of a nationwide process to identify, recognise, and celebrate Uganda’s most outstanding, innovative, and customer-focused businesses. Following the success of the 2025 edition, which attracted significant participation across a wide range of sectors, the Business Excellence Awards 2026 is set to strengthen further its position as one of Uganda’s leading consumer-driven and research-backed recognition platforms. The awards are designed to honour organisations that demonstrate measurable performance, customer trust, innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.

The theme guides the 2026 edition, “Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring Innovation,” which reflects the growing need for competitiveness, integrity, resilience, and forward-looking leadership within Uganda’s evolving business environment. Speaking at the launch, a spokesperson for Consumer Publications Uganda Limited noted that the awards are intended to go beyond visibility and public acclaim.
“The Business Excellence Awards are not simply about recognition; they are about credibility. Our approach combines market research, stakeholder feedback, and structured evaluation to ensure that the winners truly reflect the highest standards of performance and customer value.”
The awards process will follow a rigorous and transparent multi-stage methodology, including:
  • Open nominations from the public and the business community
  • Independent vetting and validation
  • Data-driven assessment based on key performance indicators
  • Final selection of top-performing organisations in each category
The online voting and participation portal is now officially open, enabling consumers, stakeholders, and businesses across Uganda to take part in the process.
