Our Mission: To honor companies and individuals who go that extra distance for their customers and also make sure they get the recognition they so richly deserve. The Consumer Business Awards is devoted to identifying and promoting business that exemplify excellent customer services, integrity, and professionalism.
Our Goal: To recognize and nurture business excellence through customer service reviews and recommendations for the benefit of local enterprises and the customers they serve.
How It Works.
Each year, the Business Excellence Awards (BEAwards) recognizes and celebrates outstanding businesses across Uganda based on direct consumer feedback and independent research.
Winners are selected through a rigorous evaluation process conducted by an independent research firm to ensure fairness, credibility, and transparency. Only the most exceptional service providers in each industry receive this prestigious recognition.
The Selection Process
1️⃣ Identifying Businesses: BEAwards compiles a list of eligible businesses across various sectors.
2️⃣ Research & Voting: Consumers participate in an online and on-ground voting process through structured surveys.
3️⃣ Data Analysis: A scientific ranking system evaluates and scores businesses based on key performance indicators.
4️⃣ Awarding the Winners: The top-ranked service provider in each category is crowned the “Top Choice Winner.”
Step-by-Step Process for the Business Excellence Awards (BEAwards)

Research
The BEAwards Team works diligently to identify and recognize outstanding businesses across Uganda. The team drives many of the nominations but also encourages external nominations from various sources, including subscribers, website visitors, social media followers, clients, and the general public. Nominators can submit their own business or nominate other companies they highly regard.

Shortlisting
Once businesses are nominated for the Business Excellence Awards (BEAwards), they will be contacted formally to confirm their participation. Nominees have the option to accept or decline the nomination. Those who accept the nomination are invited to submit additional supporting information, although this step is optional. Many nominees choose to provide extra details to strengthen their nomination.

Evaluating Shortlisted Nominees
Our dedicated research team thoroughly reviews all the submitted information for the Business Excellence Awards (BEAwards). They gather data from publicly available sources and assess it alongside the materials submitted by the nominees or nominators. The evaluation criteria include business performance, sustainability, innovation, growth (whether gradual or rapid), diversification, and feedback from stakeholders.

Determining the Winners
Once the winners are selected, they are privately notified before any public announcement is made. This allows businesses to communicate internally and prepare their marketing strategies. While not all nominees can win, we encourage everyone to participate again in future editions. After the press embargo is lifted, the winners will be publicly announced on our website, in the awards magazine, and through our subscriber newsletter for Business Excellence Awards (BEAwards).

Sharing the News
We offer various promotional packages and materials for the award winners of the Business Excellence Awards (BEAwards), such as inclusion in the winners' directory, trophies, and features in our magazine and on our website.
We encourage all winners to announce their achievement to maximize visibility. Announcements on company websites, social media platforms, press releases, and through local or national media are excellent ways to publicize their success. If winners need assistance with publicizing their win, they can contact us, and we’ll gladly help with their promotional needs.
